ooo, interesting! I'll read the article after school.
Looks pretty solid to me. I didn't know about the clearing caches thing but that's sure a nice one.
For the technically uninitiated, clearing caches is sort of like you cleaning off all the clutter on your desk so you can start fresh. Doesn't shut down or restart apps or anything, just gets rid of the junk lying around in memory.
Aside from speeding up performance, it usually makes everything update to the latest, say, page or version of the data your app is using, things like that. Sort of like ditching last week's post-it notes. So pretty slick way to do this on the fly now.
Question, when using voiceover how does one do 10 tapps since a double tap is to activate an item? Would tap and hold work?
There is this kind of tap called a split tap. It's kind of hard to explain, but
when you find the item you want, you tap one finger on the screen, and then
tap your other finger right next to it, but you have to do this fast. It's a split
tap, so it's split between 2 fingers.
Split tap is how I do it.
I wondered if split tap would work. Guess I"ll have to try it. I noticed after doing the thingy with the power button, my phone's performance did improve. I've got a 5S running 9.2.1.
Yall wanna hear something strange that happened yesterday? I was in the process of unlocking my phone via the fingerprint sensor with one hand and turning on a lightswitch with the other hand. It's been very dry around here lately so there's a ton of static in the air. Everything in this house seems to shock me when I touch it. lol Anyway, when I touched the lightswitch, it shocked my left hand. No big surprise. However, I guess enough electricity was transferred to my phone because it rebooted.Isn't that weird?
How do you do the home and power button trick? I tried doing that one, and didn't notice an increase in my phone's performance.
Hold the power button until you find it says power off.
Next hold down the home button until the phone goes off and comes back with your home screen.
Now all has been cleared.
I noticed my phone was better too.
My favorite is the cache clearing trick.
I have a Samson Galaxy J2. I am hafinding difficulies in using it.
Is there anyone who uses the same? If so, please give me guidance and instructions how to use it.
Star Fly probably can help with that.
Double taps also work, as long as you don't pause so much between double taps.
I use double taps, although I could do split taps, this way I can just use the one hand.
It still works.
